With a rapidly growing customer base and a focus on innovation, they are investing heavily in their data capabilities to drive smarter decisions, optimise operations, and enhance customer experience.As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing the data architecture and pipelines that allow the business to harness insights from vast and complex datasets.Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimise scalable ETL / ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large datasets.
Develop and maintain robust data models, warehouses, and lakes to support analytics and reporting.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver clean, consistent, and well-governed data.
Implement solutions on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automate infrastructure where possible.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data pipelines, ensuring availability and performance.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to data engineering best practices.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Data Engineer (5+ years), with exposure to large-scale, complex environments.
Skills in SQL and at least one programming language.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP also valued).
Hands-on knowledge of data pipeline and orchestration
Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for managing cloud environments.
Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and governance.
Previous exposure to transport, logistics, courier, or supply chain industries is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
