Together, we can harness potential to create a prosperous future.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner – Operations to join our Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the HR Business Partnering Lead – Operations, this busy role will provide operational HR support to our local sites and frontline workforce.This position will partner closely with leaders and employees in our operations teams, interpreting and providing advice regarding our Enterprise Agreements, delivering solutions across employee relations, performance management, workforce administration, organisational change, and talent initiatives.With a strong focus on blue-collar workforce management, you will work on a diverse range of matters including various industrial relations issues.In this role key responsibilities will include:
Provide HR partnering support to leaders across operations, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with legislative requirements.
Provide expert support on employee relations matters and case management including addressing performance and conduct issues, grievances, fitness for work and investigations.
Support workforce planning and organisational change activities and workforce administration.
Partner with leaders to drive engagement, succession planning and talent development within the operational workforce.
Provide insights and recommendations on workforce trends, risks and opportunities.
About YouWe are looking for a people focused HR professional who thrives in fast paced, operational environments. To be successful, you will bring:
a strong background in HR Business Partnering or a similar role
Proven exposure to employee and industrial relations, particularly in blue-collar environments.
Demonstrated experience working with enterprise agreements and ER/IR case management.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.
Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience),
