An opportunity is available for a Clinical Nurse (Grade 6) to join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Gladstone, QLD. This role is community-based, focusing on the delivery of mental health services to children and young people. You will be part of a Monday-Friday service, providing assessments, interventions, and case management in a supportive team environment.Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (CN Grade 6)
- Demonstrated experience in Child and Youth Mental Health
- Community nursing experience
- Current Driver's Licence (mandatory)
- General Criminal History Check (mandatory)
- Must agree to an 8-hour shift break
- Ability to work autonomously without on-call duties

Hours: 76 hours per fortnight
Duration: ~4 weeksAccommodation & Travel
- Accommodation: Shared accommodation will be provided (not always guaranteed on site).
- Travel: $200 incl. GST each way for commencement and completion of contract (tax receipts required).
- Travel must be undertaken within 2 days of the contract start and end dates.
- All travel expenses must be pre-approved by CQHHS under S11 of Schedule 2 of the PSP.
- CQHHS does not use electronic timesheets.
- Charge rates for candidates and pay points must be provided at submission.
This position supports the Child & Youth Mental Health Service in Gladstone, delivering specialist community-based care across the region. Services include assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing support for children, adolescents, and families.Fun Fact
