- Lead the strategy, business planning, and execution of the Mission Australia Housing Queensland SPV to achieve long-term sustainability and growth.
- Oversee the delivery of housing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Drive positive tenancy and asset management outcomes through effective service agreements and regulatory compliance.
- Manage senior and sub-debt loan obligations, refinancing, and hedging strategies to ensure sound financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with the National Regulatory System for Community Housing (NRSCH), state housing policies, and partner contract obligations.
- Deliver strong financial outcomes in line with approved budgets and strategic objectives.
- Provide effective leadership to the SPV team, fostering a values-based culture, innovation, and high performance.
- Report to and support the Mission Australia Housing Boards, providing timely, accurate information and strategic recommendations.
- Tertiary qualification in law, property, commerce, finance, business, or a related discipline.
- Significant senior leadership experience (10+ years) in commercial or project management, ideally with exposure to PPP-style projects, project finance, or community housing.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and manage complex financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
- Proven track record of delivering large, complex construction or property development projects within tight timeframes.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, compliance management, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
- Deep understanding of government decision-making processes, housing policy, and regulatory frameworks (including NRSCH).
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, drive change, and foster a values-based, collaborative culture.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with experience engaging boards, executives, and external partners.
