- Accountable for the delivery of the 'Primary Equipment' project scope to budget (or better than budget); and to safety, quality, performance and schedule requirements.
- Coordinate between all the Primary design, test and manufacture functions to produce a robust and reliable electrical design and engineering package, associated engineering drawings, hardware delivery, and manage site installation, cabling and commissioning works.
- Responsible for the preparation of offers and project management delivery of all project related primary and auxiliary electrical systems regarding schedule, cost, quality and safety
- Technical management of the transmission equipment offer / order processing team as well as close coordination with project management, project leads and experts from the fields of study preparation, software, and hardware engineering as well as test planning and implementation
- Planning, monitoring, and controlling the offer / order processing including technical conception, delimitation of the scope of delivery, scheduling / resource planning, costing, calculation, quality control as well as management of opportunities and risks
- Reporting, information management, revision, and order completion as well as implementation of process and design reviews
- Be flexible in workplace location, during design phase office based, procurement phase involves travel to supplier or customer premises, and in the installation phase mostly site-based
- University degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or comparable with a standard duration of
- Technically knowledgeable and experienced in the areas of high voltage transmission equipment and auxiliary systems
- Extensive knowledge in dealing with MS Office applications and PM tools
- Business fluent communication in English
- Intercultural experience is ideal as well as willingness to go on business trips locally and internationally (customer clarification, Installation Supervision and Commissioning activities)
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland RPEQ or Registered Professional Engineers of Victoria (RPEV) or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is a must
- National Registered Professional Engineer (RPEng) registered at the National Engineering Register in Australia Is a must
- Proven ability to work on complex technical projects as well as leading multidisciplinary and culturally varied teams in international projects as a project manager
- Working rights for Australia or unlimited Permanent Residency, Driving License in Australia
