You will build foundational knowledge and gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of media processes.What your typical day will look likeThe Affiliates Associate role with Carat is a great place to start and forge a career in the media industry. Reporting to the Affiliates Manager and Affiliates Director from our Sydney office, this role will enable you to build foundational knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of digital planning and buying, and exposure to advertising best practices across a variety of verticals to learn on the job.This includesWork collaboratively with internal and external teams, contributing to effective working relationships with our clients, agency partners and media ownersSupport the team in managing the day to day operations of clients affiliates programs so that we exceed targets for our clientsAssist with onboarding, management and optimisation of affiliate partnersAssistance with document preparation including WIP's, weekly and monthly performance reports, providing insights and actionable recommendationsMonitor affiliates industry trends and competitor activitySupport the execution of promotional campaigns, promote exclusive offers and seasonal initiativesProvide support and guidance on campaign analysis and client engagements, relationships, presentations and reportingA bit about youAn interest and eagerness to learn and understand the entire media and advertising marketplace, particularly in digital and performance marketing.A demonstrated business acumen teamed with a knack for data and an ability to grasp numerical and mathematical concepts, as you will be working with data and extracting insights for reporting and identifying opportunities to optimise campaigns.An understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.You are tech savvy and a practical thinker, having a natural flair for problem solving.You are happy collaborating and working within a team environment with strong communication skills.What’s in it for youReal flexibility to work when and where you feel most productive with our ‘Be the Best You’ policy5 weeks annual leave after 2 years of service and 3 whole company mental health awareness days off per yearCareer Development and Learning & Development opportunities, including access to our global online dentsu UniversitySave money with great discounts on health insurance, gym membership, buying a car and travel!Become a champion for meaningful progressOur diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
