What's the role?Join Westpac's Chief Operating Office within the Risk Division as a Senior Manager in the 2nd Line Assurance team. You'll provide oversight, insight, and challenge to ensure effective governance and risk management across both delivery and delivered risks.This role plays a key part in delivering assurance reviews across large-scale transformation programs, with a strong focus on UNITE.UNITE is our business-led, tech-enabled transformation, and a key priority for the Group. UNITE is about delivering 'one best way' to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for our customers and make things easier for our people.This is a Permanent fulltime role based in Sydney with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.What do I need?We're looking for someone who brings:

Extensive experience in project assurance, internal audit and/or project risk in change
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile) and related tools
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across complex programs
Experience producing and presenting insightful reporting to risk committees and governance forums
Skills in data-driven analysis using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Copilot
A proactive, outcomes-driven mindset with strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
