We run large-scale accommodation villages that support the mining industry across regional Queensland. Right now, we're looking for experienced Line Chefs with a formal qualification, based in New Zealand to join us on a 14:7 fly-in-fly-out roster. At the moment, we're only able to accept applications from New Zealand citizens.This is hard, honest work that pays off - financially, professionally, and personally. You'll gain skills, savings, and serious experience without giving up your home life.What's the gig?You'll work for two weeks on-site, then head home to NZ with a week to yourself. While you're on site, here's what you can expect:
  • Preparing and cooking large-volume, high-quality meals (sometimes for 3,000+ people daily!)
  • Following set menus and food safety procedures (HACCP knowledge essential)
  • Working collaboratively with your team to deliver consistently high standards
  • Day and/or night shifts required, either 10.5 or 12 hr working days
  • Contributing to a positive, respectful kitchen culture

What we're looking for
  • NZ Citizenship (no visa needed)
  • A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery Level 4 (as a minimum)
  • Experience in bulk or fast-paced commercial kitchens
  • Flexibility and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
  • Strong time management and resilience - this is a physically demanding job with real rewards
