With deep local knowledge and global expertise, we help shape resilient, future-ready transport systems that support economic growth and sustainabilityOn the back of several project wins in the Eastern States, we are looking for a dynamic Drainage Package Lead with experience in Rail projects to drive drainage design excellence across a variety of rail projects. If you're passionate about engineering innovation, collaboration, and mentoring the next generation of talent, this is the role for you!WSP encourages flexible working arrangements. Both maximum term and permanent contractual arrangements can be discussed.What You'll Do:
  • Lead drainage design deliverables across all project stages, including surface water management, stormwater management, and subsurface drainage.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth.
  • Prepare and review high-level technical reports and specifications.
  • Apply safety-in-design principles and industry standards.
  • Collaborate across disciplines and global teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status.
  • 9+ years of experience in drainage design, ideally in rail.
  • Current competencies with relevant Rail Authorities (e.g. MTM, V/Line, ARTC, RPEQ).
  • A balance of technical excellence, innovation, and delivery focus.
