Due to continued growth, Becks Wiggins Stokes (BWS) is seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our talented team across BWS and our sister brand, WellsGray Recruitment. Reporting directly to our Owner, this is a pivotal role driving commercial growth, operational excellence, and strategic execution.About the RoleAs General Manager, you will balance revenue growth with operational delivery, ensuring our consultants, clients, and systems work seamlessly towards our FY26 and long-term goals. You’ll work closely with 8 direct reports ranging from consultants to marketing and operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with our group partners to deliver scalable, compliant, and values-led growth.Key Focus Areas:
  • Revenue Growth & Client Development – Lead business development, manage key accounts, and secure new opportunities.
  • Consultant Performance & Enablement – Coach, mentor, and empower our recruitment team to hit performance targets.
  • Talent & Team Development – Recruit and onboard high-performing consultants while building team cohesion.
  • Operational Excellence – Oversee budgets, systems, and reporting to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Marketing & Brand Support – Guide marketing initiatives and enhance brand presence through campaigns and events.
  • Strategic Leadership – Drive alignment with our business strategy and contribute to group-wide programs.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 8+ years experience in senior leadership within the recruitment industry
  • Degree qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Proven track record in sales growth and client relationship management
  • Strong financial and operational management capability
  • Exceptional communication skills and leadership presence
  • Proficiency with JobAdder, Xero, and Microsoft 365
