We're partnering with a respected client in Port Pirie to recruit an experienced, qualified boilermaker at their advanced processing plant handling lead-rich concentrates and smelting by-products for a backfill position from 4/8/25 through to 2/10/25 on a 5/4 rotating roster and with excellent benefits.What's on offer?

$65 hourly flat rate
Meals and accommodation allowance (conditions apply)
Travel allowances for mobilisation and demobilisation
Short term from 4/8/25- 2/10/25 on a 5/4 rotating roster

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Perform maintenance and repair of boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and structural steel.
Conduct metal fabrication using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
Install, assemble, and dismantle plant equipment and structures during maintenance or shutdowns.
Inspect welds and metal structures for signs of wear, fatigue, or corrosion.
Replace worn or defective components with precision and accuracy.
Adhere to all site safety protocols, PPE requirements, and confined space procedures.

Successful candidates will have the following:

Proven experience as a qualified boilermaker
Relevant trade certifications
Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team
Pre-Employment Medical within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain
