They're now seeking an experienced Process Engineer to take the lead on critical initiatives aimed at increasing line efficiency, reducing variability, and supporting data-led decision-making across production.Role OverviewThis role sits at the heart of operations improvement - where your technical skills, analytical mindset, and hands-on approach will directly shape production outcomes. You'll be tasked with assessing current manufacturing performance, identifying areas for change, and designing and delivering practical solutions.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help embed improvements that support both immediate gains and long-term process stability.What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end process improvement projects - from assessment and solution design through to implementation
- Map current production processes and identify areas of inefficiency or constraint
- Apply lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance performance
- Monitor and analyse key production metrics to validate project success
- Build and present robust business cases to support change and investment proposals
- Partner with engineering, operations, and site leadership to ensure long-term adoption of solutions
- 5+ years in a process improvement or manufacturing engineering role
- Solid understanding of production systems and process optimisation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible improvements in a factory or plant setting
- Competence with data analysis and performance tracking
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative mindset
- Commercially aware, with the ability to present clear, evidence-based recommendations
