They're now seeking an experienced Process Engineer to take the lead on critical initiatives aimed at increasing line efficiency, reducing variability, and supporting data-led decision-making across production.Role OverviewThis role sits at the heart of operations improvement - where your technical skills, analytical mindset, and hands-on approach will directly shape production outcomes. You'll be tasked with assessing current manufacturing performance, identifying areas for change, and designing and delivering practical solutions.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll help embed improvements that support both immediate gains and long-term process stability.What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead end-to-end process improvement projects - from assessment and solution design through to implementation
  • Map current production processes and identify areas of inefficiency or constraint
  • Apply lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance performance
  • Monitor and analyse key production metrics to validate project success
  • Build and present robust business cases to support change and investment proposals
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and site leadership to ensure long-term adoption of solutions
What You'll BringWe're looking for a hands-on Process Engineer who's not afraid to get into the detail and drive meaningful change. You'll have a strong track record in food, FMCG, or similar manufacturing environments, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Key Requirements:
  • 5+ years in a process improvement or manufacturing engineering role
  • Solid understanding of production systems and process optimisation techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible improvements in a factory or plant setting
  • Competence with data analysis and performance tracking
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to present clear, evidence-based recommendations
