
Clinical Manager – Oncology | Sydney

- Providing operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management;
- Coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based;
- Ensuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environment;
- Providing guidance, mentoring and support to your team;
- Being accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resources;
- Undertaking direct patient care, as required;
- Ensuring compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Registered Nurse with at least 5 years' experience in an Acute Oncology or Day Infusion setting;
- Demonstrated management experience;
- Proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams with a service excellence approach;
- Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relations with a wide range of diverse stakeholders;
- Demonstrate a good knowledge base in labour management;
- Understand the requirements of private health funding;
- Demonstrable excellence in written and verbal communication skills, including advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
- A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer-focused care;
- High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases;
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment;
- Hold EVI-Q credentialing for chemotherapy administration (desirable);
- Tertiary postgraduate qualifications in a relevant Nursing specialty (desirable);
- Tertiary postgraduate qualifications in management (or working towards) (desirable).
