Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate the VPC team to deliver operational excellence across all aspects of vehicle processing & implement initiatives designed to deliver on contracted KPI’sLead all vehicle processing and yard services to consistently meet organisational requirementsOversee site operations, staff performance, asset management, and facility maintenanceEnsure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental & relevant legislation at state and federal levelsOwn financial performance including budget management, variance analysis & performance to deliver strong site resultsBe the primary point of accountability for site operations, safety, compliance and facility performance including lease management and toolingSupport port operations and collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet KPIs and customer deliverables.Drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
Job RequirementsSkills & ExperienceProven leadership experience in automotive processing/operations preferred or logistics or industrial operations.Strong understanding of operational safety, compliance, and environmental standards.Strong Financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets and performance metrics.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to lead change, develop teams, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.Experience with facility management and tooling oversight is highly desirable.Ability to manage multiple deadlines, time sensitive responsibilities and to work in an agile, fast-paced environmentWallenius Wilhelmsen is a global leader in RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping and logistics, with over 160 years of maritime heritage.
