
Business Analyst - Cyber IAM

- Experience with IAM technologies, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Okta, or other identity and access management solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions, such as Microsoft 365, Azure AD, or Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of identity governance, administration, and analytics.
- Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and security professionals to understand IAM requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather requirements and elicit stakeholder feedback.
- Document and analyse existing IAM processes, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create process flow diagrams, swimlane diagrams, and other visual aids to communicate complex IAM processes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IAM solutions.
- Develop detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive requirements.
- Evaluate the potential business impact of IAM-related changes, including new technologies, policy updates, and process improvements.
- Assess the associated risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and maximize benefits.
- Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring IAM projects.
- Support the development of project charter, scope statements, and other project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings, status updates, and issue resolution.
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and actionable reports on IAM initiatives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to educate business users on IAM best practices and tools.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of IAM processes, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on IAM trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 1 year in an IAM or cybersecurity context.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IAM requirements, projects, or initiatives.
- Experience working with IT teams, security professionals, and business stakeholders.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex IAM concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, or draw.io).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project).
- Knowledge of identity and access management principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, and COBIT).
