$57phr + Allowances + OT + SuperA well-established and nationally recognised manufacturer in the packaging and processing sector is seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team at their Rooty Hill facility. With decades of operation and a reputation for reliability and innovation, this business offers long-term stability, strong team culture, and opportunities for growth.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring electrical systems and production equipment operate reliably and safely. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, and supporting plant upgrades and automation projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilties:
- Perform electrical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of production and packaging machinery
- Troubleshoot using PLC software (Siemens, Allen Bradley) and resolve faults in VSDs and VFDs
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and attend to urgent breakdowns
- Install and maintain electrical distribution boards, safety systems, and automation controls
- Contribute to plant improvement and reliability projects through root cause analysis
- Carry out maintenance on main switchboards, LT panels, and monitor power factor correction systems
- Complete documentation in the CMMS and participate in shutdowns and risk assessments
- Ensure all work is compliant with safety standards and electrical codes
- Unrestricted Electrical Licence (NSW)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting
- Solid working knowledge of PLCs, AC motors, control circuits, HMIs, and automation systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Safety-first mindset and commitment to quality workmanship
- Licences such as EWP, forklift or working at heights are an advantage
