Job DescriptionAbout the RoleA unique and rewarding role to join our Genetics team to cover a period of maternity leave for 16 months. This role can be based in one of our MLA offices in North Sydney, Brisbane or Armidale.Our ideal Project Manager - Livestock Genetics R&D has the ability to:

Work collaboratively in MLA to develop the strategy and implementation plans that addresses the industry priorities for the investment in genetics and genomics within the red meat industry
Work closely with contracted research organisations and service providers to ensure timely delivery of research outcomes
Assist with management of the National Livestock Genetics Consortium (NLGC) Taskforce
Facilitate and manage the Livestock Genetics Project Call process where required.
Representation of MLA in the context of genetics RD&A at industry events, including forums, workshops, seminars, field days and conferences
Assist with the preparation of reports and papers for the Livestock Genetics program for internal use as well as key industry stakeholders.
