- Assist with the implementation of Greyhound’s Reward, Recognition & Engagement strategy.
- Regularly engage with remote employees to foster connection and belonging.
- Lead initiatives like the Values Champion Program, recognising employees who demonstrate our culture and values.
- Partner with leaders to recruit values-aligned, best-fit candidates
- Implement and promote our employee retention strategy to reduce turnover.
- Coordinate job ads, interviews, new starter documentation, and onboarding processes.
- Assist the People and Culture team with day-to-day administration, documentation, and support tasks
- Provide practical support and advice to managers and supervisors to enhance leadership and people management capability.
- Support our employees with Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) questions
- Act as a point of contact for P&C related matters.
- Assists with disciplinary meetings, employee conduct and investigations with fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Contribute to monthly board reporting.
- Analyse P&C data and trends to inform people strategies and ensure compliance.
- Conduct and interpret reviews of Greyhound’s EBA to maintain alignment with IR standards.
- Help develop and manage content in Greyhound’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Assist with delivering internal training sessions and workshops.
- Identify skills gaps and future workforce needs via performance review and planning conversations.
- Contribute to the development, review and communication of P&C policies that align with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Support the successful implementation of Employment Hero, our new HRIS, including process setup, data integrity, and training.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a Human Resources/P&C generalist role.
- Experience across all facets of People and Culture including industrial relations, employee relations, performance management, termination risks, National Employment Standards, and the Fair Work Act.
- Exceptional ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, and a pragmatic problem-solving mindset.
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, particularly Employment Hero.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and experience in designing or delivering training content.
