Backed by a highly experienced team, they are reshaping fragmented UIs into unified, high-performance digital experiences.About the roleAs a Senior Front End Engineer, you’ll join the front-end team responsible for the member online experience. The project involves onboarding a new client and enhancing the core SaaS platform, implementing exciting new features and processes, reworking configurations, and merging legacy UI codebases into a more scalable architecture.This is a hands-on delivery role (ideally 80% front end, 20% back end uplift, however strong candidates that are 100% front end are also encouraged to apply), using Typescript, Vue.js, Node.js, and AWS. You’ll be uplifting engineering standards across performance, testing, and observability and help reshape how quality code gets delivered. You’ll be treated as a core member of the team, not just a contractor.

Remote-friendly (anywhere on the east coast)
Sydney-based candidates are encouraged to join onsite if interested

Your backgroundMust haves:

Strong experience with TypeScript and front-end architecture
Commercial experience with AWS
Solid foundation in software engineering principles (data structures, performance, clean code)
Passion for front-end engineering and scaling large UI systems
Strong communication skills and the initiative to uplift codebases

Nice to have:

Vue.js experience (React is also welcome)
Experience scaling UIs for high-session consumer or FinTech products
Background in digital-native companies (e.g. Canva, Atlassian, etc.)
Comfortable navigating unfamiliar codebases and helping uplift peers
