Known for its inclusive culture and commitment to service excellence, the business is growing steadily and offers a stable, team-oriented environment where your contribution will be valued and recognised.Job DescriptionIn this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the internal sales and logistics functions, ensuring a smooth order-to-delivery process and excellent customer service. Your day-to-day duties will include:Managing customer enquiries and providing timely responses and order updatesPreparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating delivery schedulesFollowing up with customers on quotes, acknowledgements, and delivery detailsMaintaining accurate records for invoicing, shipping, and mill deliveriesCollaborating closely with supply chain, sales, and planning teamsHandling shipping-related tasks, including documentation for import/export and local clearanceCoordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and managing warehouse inventory dataAssisting sales reps with administrative support such as stock checks, contract updates, and order trackingContributing to the maintenance of healthy stock levels and communicating with production plannersThe Successful ApplicantTo thrive in this role, you'll bring a mix of strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment. Key qualities include:Previous experience in internal sales, logistics admin, or customer support (ideally in manufacturing or industrial sectors)Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both written and verbalProven ability to manage multiple tasks and remain self-motivated during quieter periodsA proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate customer needsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing orders and handling documentationConfidence working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, supply chain, and warehouse staffResilience and a strong team player attitudeComfortable learning product knowledge and using internal systems and toolsWhat's on OfferThis is a great opportunity to join a stable, growing business where your contribution will be valued and your development supported.
