Our client is a key player in connecting regional producers across the NSW Riverina with domestic and global markets. They are a trusted partner who utilise their storage, road and rail networks to safely and capably move grain through to end user markets. With strong grower and customer relationships, they are well located across Southern New South Wales to continue to grow their footprint in the region.The Role
Working closely alongside the Grain Merchant, your role will be to assist with grower accumulation, trading logistics and contract execution. Working directly with growers you will assist in providing service options including pricing and logistics across their network. The focus of the role will be to maximize grain receivals and align supply with strategic trading opportunities.The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Bachelor Degree of Commerce/ Agriculture/ Supply Chain or similar
  • A level of experience in the grain sector, ideally working with growers or in a logistics related function
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and strong analytical skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
