"Better together" defines our approach – a place where everyone matters and the customer is always at the forefront, prioritising people, fostering collaboration, and striving for greatness.As the Senior People Business Partner you will hold a leadership role within the People, Culture & Communications (PC&C) team, reporting into our Chief People Officer and partnering with our largest business unit in Group Remuneration Services (GRS). To assist in supporting this large group you will have a People Business Partner reporting to you.You will work with Executives and Senior Management to build and implement human resources solutions in-line with MMS strategy. You will take the lead across a diverse range of conversations, recommendations and advice regarding the full suite of HR services, and provide support and advice in workplace relations matters. In addition, you will provide support, coaching and daily guidance to leaders and employees and help to drive and develop our culture.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the delivery of recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of human resources, including employee relations, employee learning and development, communications, resource planning, organisational change management and succession planning.
  • Utilising people metrics, capability requirements and business metrics to Identify areas of long-term development in order to optimise business and employee success.
  • Providing interpretation and counsel to Management at all levels regarding policies, programs and practices.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new policies, practices and programs
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Support both employees and leaders, and represent the business in Employment Relations matters.
To be considered for this role you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executives and senior leaders on people matters
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work/employment law and HR best practice
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including remuneration, employee relations, diversity and performance management
  • The ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of guidelines, regulations, and policies.
  • Proficiency with HR systems, and ideally with Workday.
