- 3+ years' experience in payroll administration and operations, ideally in a multi-country or high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (Awards, superannuation, PAYG).
- Exceptional attention to detail with confidence handling employee data and complex calculations.
- A process-oriented mindset with a track record of driving improvements.
- Resilience in fast-moving, ambiguous environments - able to create clarity and structure.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience with New Zealand payroll legislation.
- Familiarity with external vendor management in an outsourced or co-sourced payroll model.
- Experience with HR or payroll-related platforms (e.g., Workday, TMF)
- Involvement in automation, documentation, or payroll process optimisation.
