- Designing the AC voltage equipment and wiring for our BESS products.
- Creating and supporting micro grids, loads and other test environments.
- Providing specialised engineering support in power electronics for battery management.
- Providing support for product requirements.
- Maintaining suitable documentation of work conducted.
- Ad-hoc engineering tasks and activities as required.
- Bachelor/Masters/PhD in electrical engineering and/or Electrician’s Licence.
- Experience in BESS (or similar) product creation and/or installation.
- Experience with microgrids and microgrid controllers.
- In-depth knowledge of LV switchgear, including selection.
- In-depth knowledge of key electrical standards such as AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 and AS/NZS 4836.
- Experience propagating technical knowledge via mentoring.
- Experience designing equipment or creating work procedures to manage risks such as electric shock, arc-flash, touch voltage, equipotential bonding, and insulation leakage.
- Functional safety knowledge (IEC 60730 or equivalent).
- Electrical, insulation coordination, & battery safety knowledge (IEEE 1584, IEC 62477, UL 9540A, IEC 60664, IEC 60947-2).
