Job Description:About the Role:We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer on day rate contract. You will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This position will be focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of cloud-based systems, automating processes, and implementing best practices for continuous integration and deployment.Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud PaaS, focusing on Function Apps and Web Apps on Linux platforms.
Conduct troubleshooting and deep analysis on Azure PaaS Linux platforms to identify and resolve issues.
Manage and optimize Azure SQL PaaS and SQL Managed Instance solutions.
Develop and maintain Azure DevOps Build and Release Pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery processes.
Write automation scripts using Terraform and PowerShell to streamline infrastructure deployment and management.
Work with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) to orchestrate and manage containerized applications.
Develop and maintain Docker containers for a variety of services.
Implement and manage Azure Backup and Restore solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, particularly PaaS Function Apps and Web Apps on Linux platforms.
Strong experience troubleshooting and performing deep analysis on Azure PaaS Linux environments.
Experience with Azure SQL PaaS and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
Expertise in building and maintaining Azure DevOps Pipelines for both build and release processes.
Solid scripting experience with Terraform and PowerShell for infrastructure automation.
Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and Docker container development.
Familiarity with Azure Backup and Restore procedures.
