We are currently recruiting a Contract Administrator on behalf of our client, a leading construction company working on a diverse range of commercial projects The company handles projects including townhouse complexes apartment buildings, childcare centres, and multi-use complexes, with a £40 million project currently under construction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Quotation Management: Arrange for quotations to be sent for individual trades, ensuring competitive pricing and scope alignment.
  • Scope of Works: Assist in defining the scope of works for various trades and project phases.
  • Data Management: Input all project data into DataBuild software, including purchase orders, invoices, and other essential documentation.
  • Cost to Complete Reporting: Provide accurate cost to complete reports, helping to track project budget and progress.
  • Basic Estimating & Take Offs: Assist with basic estimating and take-offs for project costing.
  • RFI’s & Reporting: Manage Requests for Information (RFI’s), record meeting minutes, and generate PCG reports to ensure clear communication across the team.
Essential Requirements:
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar contract administration role within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with DataBuild software for inputting and managing project data.
  • Solid understanding of cost control, scope definition, and contract documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of estimating and take-offs, with the ability to support project teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
