- Provide professional guidance and support to customers as the first point of contact relating to a variety of telephone and email enquiries, including triaging issues, escalating challenging calls and responding to straightforward written enquiries.
- Ensure the timely progression of various workflows by using departmental software effectively and in line with relevant processes.
- Log reported road maintenance, bridge and traffic signals issues in the department's Maintenance Information Management System for action, including escalating calls to contractors.
- Provide administrative support such as booking training and travel, purchasing of catering and other supplies.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding and exit process for employees by performing activities under the Transport Group's induction and separation process.
- Current Driver's Licence
