  • Facilitate the Commission's misconduct matter management process. Particularly by processing electronic and/or paper correspondence, including but not limited to:
  • monitoring centralised correspondence channels, including email account
  • registration of new or existing matters in the relevant database
  • allocation and registration of notice numbers
  • notification of above to relevant business unit/team members
  • receipt and registration of associated documentation, including evidence
  • distribution of responses and associated materials to relevant external parties
  • Administration associated with the following but not limited to:
  • tabling and registration of reports
  • data collation and statistical reporting
  • Monitor misconduct matters on the Commission's case management system and other relevant databases.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with complainants, public officers and public authorities, including liaison with senior public officers to obtain relevant information.
  • Other duties relevant to the Complaints and Oversight Unit as required by the Director, Complaints and Oversight, including assisting with the Commission's educative and prevention function.
Pre-employment ChecksThe Head of State Service has determined that the person nominated for this vacancy is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.The following checks are to be conducted:
  • A security vetting process to obtain Baseline security clearance (access to classified information and resources up to and including PROTECTED). This process requires the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency to collect personal information to assess suitability.
  • A pre-employment check on any disciplinary or managerial action in any previous employment.
  • Identification check.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience in the administration of an electronic case management system/databases.
  • Experience working in a legal and/or confidential environment.
