Suitable applicants will receive contact within the next 2 - 6 weeks.Your New Role and ResponsibilitiesThis position will lead and execute Verification and Validation (V&V) activities across complex systems and projects, ensuring that technical, operational, and security requirements are met in alignment with Defence or Federal Government standards. The role aims to deliver high-quality test engineering outcomes through collaboration, technical expertise, and effective stakeholder engagement.Under the direction of a designated Team leader, perform the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:

Lead full engineering lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring integration and quality assurance.
Translate customer requirements into effective system test solutions and V&V deliverables.
Develop and execute V&V activities, including plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
Collaborate across teams to align testing strategies with system architecture and project goals.
Analyse test results and manage defects, supporting multiple programs with adaptability and problem-solving.

What You'll Bring to Make an Impact

Proven experience in Systems or Test Engineering in large-scale test projects, ideally within Defence or Federal Government sectors.
Firm grasp of Systems Engineering lifecycle, V&V methodologies, and test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira).
Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure and enterprise applications; experience with defence projects preferred.
