- Planning and facilitating lifestyle programs based on individual needs
- Supporting new residents as they settle into the home
- Documenting participation and outcomes of lifestyle activities
- Advocating for residents and addressing any concerns or requests
- Maintaining compliance with aged care quality standards and policies
- Assisting with evaluation of residents’ wellbeing and providing updates to nursing staff
- Contributing to safe, respectful, and enjoyable living environments
- National Police Certificate (current or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate
- Manual Handling training
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Understanding of aged care issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work respectfully in a diverse, team-based setting
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or related field
- Awareness of dementia care principles
- Experience with aged care documentation
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and WHS
- Ability to speak Italian is highly regarded
