PreambleTea Tree Gully Anglican is a growing evangelical church in the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide. By God’s grace over the past 18 years, we have grown a vibrant gospel hearted ministry to children, youth and young adults in our area as well as reaching out to families.Tea Tree Gully is part of metro Adelaide with around 100,000 people in the immediate council area.Current Ministries we run can be seen on our .The broad purpose of this positionWe employed our first full time Women’s and Children’s worker in mid 2022 whilst her husband finished bible college. We have seen this ministry being established and grow and wish to continue to see women and children in our parish to grow in their gospel heart, their knowledge of God’s word and their living for Jesus, as well as their reaching out to others who need to know Jesus.Accountability – Senior PastorThe successful applicant will be required to work closely with the Senior Pastor.   • Evangelism
  • Engaging in and encouraging others in evangelism (particularly to other women).
  • Pastoral
  • Pastorally caring for women across the three gatherings
  • Pastoring women (both single and married)
  • Bible teaching
  • Work with, encourage and train current leaders of Flourish women’s ministry & Flourish women’s bible study group.
  • Provide bible teaching in the context of women’s ministry in our church.
  • Develop a one-to-one bible reading ministry among women (both pastoral and evangelistic)
  • Kids’ Ministry - Lead, train and develop our weekly Generators Kids Club ministry.
  • Mentoring
  • Of our female leaders (across ages)
  • Sundays
  • At the 10 am service: Regularly leading at this service on rotating basis, weekly managing the “Kid’s Spot” teaching time – (a memory verse driven program), possible involvement in Kid’s Church ministry – depending on gifts (see below)
  • Occasional roles in leading 8:30 service & 6pm
Employment Conditions
  • The position is for 40 hours per week plus additional hours such as those performed by committed lay people, with one full day off.
  • Remuneration by negotiation.
  • Regular attendance at 10a.m. service & 6pm service with occasional attendance at 8:30 a.m. service.
  • Four weeks annual leave (28 days – including a maximum of 4 Sundays absent).
  • Study leave – 5 days p.a. to approved courses / projects.
