Senior Network Engineer Opportunity – Melbourne BasedOur well-known government client in the inner-city suburbs of Melbourne is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their fast-paced and growing IT team.3-month contract – strong potential for extension or a permanent opportunity
$800/day (inc super)
Mostly WFH – must be able to travel to site as needed
Must have PR or Australian CitizenshipWhat We're Looking For:

5+ years in a network engineering role
Strong experience in LAN, WAN, Switching, Routing & Firewalls
Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, NetScaler, SD-WAN, Wireless AP (Aruba)
Knowledge of network security, access control models, and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)
Experience with on-prem data centres and incident response
Minimum CCNP certification
Excellent communication and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
