A respected, design led custom home builder based in Perth is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their collaborative team.Known for delivering one of a kind, architecturally inspired residences, this builder focuses on crafting high quality, double storey homes with originality, care, and precision.With a steady pipeline of bespoke homes typically ranging from $1M to $3M, this is a fantastic opportunity to work across some of Perth’s most thoughtfully designed residential builds.This is a predominantly estimating focused role with involvement across scheduling and pre-construction planning. You'll work closely with internal design and construction teams to ensure accurate cost planning and seamless project delivery from concept to contract.Responsibilities:
Full scope estimating from initial design through to final contract documentation
Preparing detailed Bills of Quantities, tender packages, and trade comparisons
Liaising with consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Reviewing and negotiating trade pricing and supplier quotes
Supporting early stages of scheduling and procurement strategies
Assisting with value management and cost optimisation
About You:
Proven experience estimating custom or high-end residential builds
Strong knowledge of two storey construction is essential
Solid understanding of construction techniques, finishes, and Perth market rates
Experience using estimating software; Truth Engine experience desirable
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
