We are looking for an Engineer who has experience in AI tech, and is willing to play a somewhat BA/solutions role for small-medium undertakings, and engage business teams (eg: HR, Procurement, Legal) to help them on their journey to adopt AI.We're looking for a hands-on, business-savvy AI Adoption Engineer / Consultant to help bring AI to life with our Tech First client. This hybrid role blends technical engineering, internal consulting, and enablement. You'll work closely with business departments to identify opportunities, build agentic solutions, and support the rollout of AI use cases that deliver real impact.Top Skills needed:

Python, Typescript, AI experience (LLM, RAG, MCP)

Location: Melbourne CBD (onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs; offsite Mon, Fri)Duration: 6-months+What You'll Be Doing:AI Consulting & Triage

Act as a point of contact for departments like HR, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Ops who want to explore AI ideas or solutions.
Conduct AI consults to uncover needs, define use cases, and recommend solutions.
Define the workflow to handle incoming triage requests in an agentic manner.
Build a backlog and assist in grouping requests into common themes, or prioritization.
Triage incoming requests and guide teams through the AI journey.

Engineering AI Solutions

Build and deploy AI agents.
Develop agentic workflows that integrate with existing platforms and business systems.

Enablement & Education

Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to uplift AI literacy across
Understand learning needs today, and extrapolate to plan learning needs in the future.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with the other teams to align on AI tools, platforms, and coding standards.
Collaborate with AI Champions to share lessons, cross-pollinate ideas, and shape culture.

Driving Impact

Strategize AI adoption metrics that make sense and are actionable to the company.
Surface blockers and feedback loops to improve AI tools and processes.

What You'll Bring

Strategic thinker who is hands on and pays attention to detail.
Engineering Background with experience in Python, Typescript
Commercial experience with LLM, RAG, MCP.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
