Seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead Azure-based infrastructure design, delivery, and optimisation within a large enterprise environment (4000+ users). This is a hands-on technical role focused on modernisation, automation, and mentoring within a well-established internal team.Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure infrastructure solutions
- Lead cloud and infrastructure transformation projects
- Drive automation, performance, cost optimisation, and resilience
- Provide technical leadership across Azure, identity, networking, security
- Mentor junior engineers and uplift team capability
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams
- Ensure documentation, governance, and change practices are followed
- 8+ years in senior infrastructure/cloud roles within complex enterprise environments
- Deep experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
- Virtual Machines, Networking, Site Recovery, Cost Management
- Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access
- PowerShell, Automation, Infrastructure as Code
- Disaster Recovery, Monitoring, and Security controls
- Azure Solution Architect certification (required)
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring skills
- Proven track record of delivering modern, resilient infrastructure solutions
